When you use this website, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you book a consultation or submit feedback. We also collect basic analytics data to understand how visitors use the site.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe) and authentication. These services have their own privacy policies.

CV and cover letter tools

If you use Check my CV or Build my CV, we collect the documents or answers you provide, the job advert and, for Build my CV, the contact details you choose to print on your CV. The email address in builder contact details is included on your CV; it is not collected to email reports or saved-session links. We use this information to generate your feedback or CV and save your progress. CV tools currently provide downloads only.

Anthropic processes document text, job adverts and builder answers to produce AI feedback and CV content. Builder contact details are added by our code, not sent to the AI. Files are held in temporary private server processing storage; a persistent App Storage provider is not used. Your saved builder page is the way to return to your progress, so bookmark it and keep its address private. No report or saved-session link is emailed.

Documents and generated files are automatically removed one hour after they are ready. Unpaid uploads are automatically removed after one hour. Unfinished builder answers are kept for up to 7 days so you can return to them. Completed builder personal data is removed one hour after the CV is ready. Temporary files are automatically deleted at expiry. We keep non-personal counts, timings and status information for reporting.

If you join a coming-soon email list, we use your email only to tell you when that tool is available. You can ask us to remove it by contacting support@careerdecoded.co.uk.
